Laura Book



Laura has grown up in the restaurant industry, and hospitality has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember.

From helping around the family restaurant to managing high-volume hospitality operations in Las Vegas, Laura has a wide range of experience in hospitality management. Starting out in F&B operations, Laura was part of the opening teams for both Aria Resort and Casino and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Stepping out of operations management for a bit, Laura then moved to Human Resources where she focused on internal engagement and community relations. Laura is passionate about advancing customer-centric industries and educating future leaders. Laura continues to teach part-time in the College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Laura received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and Doctorate in Philosophy-Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Laura is also a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
